Nonno's 70th Birthday

Wow where has the time gone?? My father is 70 years old & looks great. We got some family together for a surprise get together at a Portuguese restaurant for some Rodizio (ton of meat). The second Londyn saw lyla she jumped out of car and gave her s long hug. It was the cutest moment.  I got the girls roses so when nonno came in they can give them the flower. We were all facing the wrong way since they went in the front door instead of back one.  My father was really shocked and the night was one to remember. The kids were even having a great time running around and playing duck duck goose, Lyla Londyn and Pietro.

What a joy

Londyn is my sweetheart. She loves to give me kisses in the morning. She does the best happy dance I'm trying to get it on video but she doesn't do things on que. She thinks and says everything is her's and I mean everything.  She has a bit of a attitude now saying give me instead of please may I have. Yesterday she told Ailet I miss you. That was a first and is so cute. She asked me where daddy go and I said dentist she then said it perfect. I love her face when I get home, that is when she's excited to see me. When she wants to open something she said open me, open me.  Everything about her I love!!!!

Rite Aid run

Londyn is hysterical.  She was so excited to take the cart around in Rite Aid.  Her first purchase was Head and Shoulders.  I asked her if she has dandruff and she said HES, which is YES she can't sound out her Y's. 

Terrible 2's

Londyn has been really cranky lately when I get home from work. I know her teeth hurt because she points & tells me. She has had a couple interrupted sleeping patterns. Last week the boy Ike at babysitter threw a block at Londyn head. It wasn't the first time something hit her head there that week so it bruised right up. Josh told the mother it was ok things happen. Well today at daycare she bite Ike twice. She told everyone all weekend when they asked about her head that Ike did boom, no no no. I got a email from Kathy & she said that she was really cranky seemed sick & bit Ike twice then she took his toy. This upsets me because I thought this biting faze was over. I did tell Kathy I'm not sticking up for her but I think she isn't fond of Ike & it's probably her teeth bothering her. Anyway I fear that she will be a brat. I always thought it was the way you were raised so I hope she grows out of it. I'm very hormonal being pregnant everything touches a nerve.

Daddy does a 1/2 marathon

We are so proud of daddy today!! He did the whole 1/2 marathon 13.1 miles in 2:07 averaging 9.43 miles.  We almost had to call the paramedics when he was done but he still completed the race.  It was his first 1/2 & he wasn't prepared.  His next one is in May so hope he can be more prepared.  Melanie went with me to the race.  We made signs for Josh and Londyn wore a cute shirt that said Where the ___ is the finish line?  We didn't get a chance to see him because prego brain was counting wrong.

Steve

It's not every day that Londyn sees her uncle Steve but she loves him.  She will just randomly say Steve & laugh.  It's really cute because that is how Lyla was with Josh.  Maybe it's a uncle thing.  It's very cute the way she says it too.

Londyn site & brain

Josh just gets these random ideas mostly when he is bored, today was a good one.  He was always fascinated by the dinosaur's as a child and thought Londyn would love to look at them at the American Museum of Natural History.  Of course right back in NY where I am 5 days a week.  We drove it and there is absolutely no parking around central park so we picked a lot after 1/2 hour of looking.  Right when we walked in Londyn was fascinated with the dinosaurs.  My mother got her a small coloring book and when she sees the cover she asks what it is and then gives a shocked look.  After about 1/2 hour she wanted to run all over.  So we chased her for a couple of hours.  So as much as I don't think she learned today it looked like she had a great time.  Also I don't think I ever went there so I was happy to check it out.

NAKED!

What are kids obsession with being naked?? Londyn is in that stage now.  Sometimes I will leave the room and come back and everything is off.  Debbie told a funny story that happened at nap time.  She put her in the pack n play and they heard her talking to herself.  After awhile Lyla was concerned why was she talking to herself.  They went upstairs & she was butt naked laughing.  She took off her turtleneck shirt that took me forever to fit over her watermelon head.  I think it's the whole idea that now she knows how to take her clothes off that's all she wants to do.

Londyn's imagination

This weekend Sarah had her 2 niece's so I told her let's do something for them.  We ended going to the NJ Children's Museum which is like a imagination place.  It was Dr Seuss birthday so they read to the girls and had some games.  The whole day was a success especially that Londyn slept for 3 hours after, it wore her out.  Londyn obviously doesn't like rides.
