What a great New Years spent with family. I had over Gab & family and my parents. We are like pigs and had some fun.  How cute is this picture, the girls loved their 2013 glasses. Happy New Year!!!

Merry Christmas 2012

Sometimes I wonder why I come up with these ideas.  I was really into the chalk on the ground theme this year.  I had to plan all of our outfits, our location and what time of day.  Michelle loves to do photography so I thought perfect.  I knew Londyn wouldn't participate but after a stressful planning and day it came out really cute.  We had so many compliments even saying it was the best card of the year.  Josh did a great job making the angels.  Even thought Londyn didn't pay attention we all look great!

Hello scary Santa 2012

Wow I got a head start on this. Usually I'm rushing to get pictures with Santa. I was brave did it alone while josh was working. Got the girls dressed and packed in car. I love the frightened look on both of their faces. Probably because this was the scariest Santa I've seen I don't blame them. Besides her first it was the first time Londyn went right up to him and didn't cry. I think the balloon dog had something to do with it. As a mom duty I must do this every year. If not I'd be better off saving the $35.

Londyn Christmas school play 2012

I can't say it enough I really love Londyn school.  Every year they have a Christmas show.  I was a little nervous she would see us and run to us.  She didn't see us at all & basically didn't move the whole show.  The dress code was white shirt dark pants.  She of course asked to wear a sweater, so she was the only girl with a sweater.  Hopefully next year she will sing or move.  All she did this year was bossy and hit the kid next to her when he was actually participating.

Lo first visit to dentist

I didn't think I would ever make it to the dentist for Londyn first visit.  I was recommended to this dentist and I was very happy.  The people in the waiting room were talking up the dental assistant Debbie.  The office was in a house and it looked like a fun house.  Crazy mirrors and all types of fun stuff for the kids.  Debbie was perfect naming all of her tools before they went into Londyn mouth.  I was so happy Londyn let her do whatever she wanted and didn't make a peep.  They said she was a perfect patient, especially for the smaller kids.  Then the dentist who is a male took over and she started to cry.  All in all it was a good experience except for the pacifier starting to ruin her teeth.  Next step is to get rid of it.

Starbucks day

How cute Londyn served us coffee and snacks. They had Starbucks day at school. I love her after school program it's not just about having them play they learn so much! 

Thanksgiving 2012

We enjoyed a nice day at Josh's mother's house with aunts and uncles.  I have been wrapped up with other things I didn't get a nice Thanksgiving outfit for the girls.  I think I did a good job with what I had.  I love this family portrait. 

Kids just say the craziest things....

* I once told Londyn after her many clothes changes that she doesn't match.  I explain what it meant and now she always tells me she matches.  She's actually pretty good at it.

Londyn dresses herself - IKEA

Oh here she goes again.  I am letting her dress herself when I have time and don't want to put up a fight.  She has been crying when I drop her off at school.  On Friday's since I work from home that gives her time to dress herself.  The first day I did it she walked into school didn't even say bye to me.  She had confidence and I realized it must be because she wore what she wanted.  It was striped leggings, purple tutu and a gray short not matching with a saying on it.  I love the soccer look today with the hiked up socks.

How do I look?

Tonight we went out to see Jess new house in Scotch Plains. It was late close to Londyn bed time so I let her pick out her outfit. It was actually really cute.  Heart pants, heart top, tutu, sweater which she loves to zip up and put good on & her rain boots (she claims they fit her but they don't). We were getting ready to leave and she went to check herself out in the mirror. Josh caught it on camera. The pose the twist of the feet I absolutely love this photo. 

Londyn gets innovative

Wow! Mrs fashionista doesn't stop. I finally put her clothes in her room in this tall dresser. She was watching me do it and I was waiting for her to be pissed. Finally when she realized she couldn't just grab her clothes and try them on all day she told me she wanted them back in Preslie room.  Not even 1 day goes by I get home from work and this was her. She pulled over the chest and stood on it and went to town trying on clothes after clothes. It's hard to clean up and keep up after laundry but she loves it I can't get mad. Just wait till she sees her dress up wardrobe daddy made her, well Santa elfs made. Side note if she finds out Santa isn't real by 2 it's all daddy fault.  He left cover of this piece and she was looking at it. Let hope she doesn't remember. 

Londyn sick just in time for me to go back to work

Figures just when I go back to work Londyn get sick. I left her with my mother on Tuesday w a fever and she said she was crying and calling for me all day. No matter what I was taking off of work and bringing her to the doctor. My first priority is my children. I didn't even think to check her throat bc she kept complaining about her head. She just had a ear infection the prior week. Well they thought she had strep but it was just a viral infection.  She wasn't happy at the doctor, poor baby. Right when the weather gets cold Londyn gets sick. Wish she would eat more vegetables, or any at all. 

Halloween 2012

Well this was a tragic Halloween.  With Superstorm Sandy taking down lots of trees it wasn't safe for the girls to celebrate Halloween.  They cancelled it in most towns and Governor Christie postponed it until the following Monday.  Which I was mad at because if you are going to postpone it how about doing it on a weekend so working mother's can go out.  Anyway since Lyla was staying over they wanted to get out of the house being trapped with school closing because of storm these girls get restless.  My neighbor was over charging their phones told us they had some candy.  Londyn insisted on being Tinkerbell.  It's so funny she doesn't even watch TV I assume she got it from Lyla.  I bought a costume in TJMaxx then found one cheaper at a consignment shop.  Anyway the shoes, bad and wand cost me more then the costume.  We did a few houses here then the following Saturday they had treat or treating at Turtle Back Zoo.  We went with the Frietas's.  I'm over Halloween this year.  Londyn was funny it was really the first year she understood the fun part of Halloween.  Our neighbor gave out ores.  Lyla explained that she would be getting candy.  She looked at the cookies, looked at neighbor and said "candy?".  Then she looked at me and said "candy?"  Oh it was hysterical.

Londyn is sick

Poor Londyn had a ear infection last week.  She cried in the middle of the night that she had boo boos in her ear.  It's so much better that they can tell you what's wrong instead of wondering.  It was Sunday and we didn't want to wait for Monday so we sent her to the care station by us.  She was so excited to go to the doctor.  Being so good asking the doctor if she was going to fix her.  I haven't been to the doc with her in awhile so I was excited the fear changed.  Then a week later she was waking up in the middle of the night crying screaming and she had a 102 fever.  I had my mother watch her because it was my first week back at work from 3 month break I had to go in.  My mother said she cried for me all day then was fine at the end of the day.  That night she woke up again crying so since my kids mean more then my job I decided to take the day off and bring her to the doctor.  Well she cried the whole time probably thinking she was getting a shot.  Her throat was so red I couldn't believe it.  She didn't say one thing about it.  So there goes my happy theory.  Anyway it wasn't strep, whew.  It was a viral infection in her throat.  This cold and school is going to be the death of me.

Daddy litle girl, she's asks and he deliveries.  She fell on the ground asked for a band aid and he put 2 on her head.  They were on there for 2 days because she was so scared to remove them.  She does look cute.

2 1/2 year well visit

I feel like I haven't been on a well visit for Londyn in forever.  She was fine with her doctor appointment a week ago but today she was throwing a tantrum.  The doctor actually asked me what do I do when she throws tantrums.  She said it like she was annoyed.  She only does that when she's tired or when I go to school.  Otherwise she is happy kid.  She was not happy to have her flu shot, poor thing.  Otherwise she is growing perfect and looks great.

After I decided to take her to get ice cream.  Even though all she did was cry during doctor visit she did have a shot and I felt bad for her.

Class pictures

Class pictures, wow.  I didn't take them until pre-school.  I stressed about what she was going to wear for awhile because she never likes anything I pick out.  It all worked out except she wanted this huge bow headband in her head so I let her have it.  At school they said she was really funny.  She cried of course and made her teacher take the picture.  When the photography left the room and tried to get back in and Londyn told him to leave.  I can't wait to see what these photos will look like.

Bowcraft ride birthday party

I'm so happy I re connected with my friend Jill I worked with 15 years ago.  She has twins that go to Londyn school.  If it wasn't for Facebook Londyn probably wouldn't have gone to this wonderful school.  Her twin daughters 4 years old love Londyn.  She was excited about the party and went on a few rides, she is scared of her own shadow.  It was a nice day.  Jill says that Angelina is really shy and hates rides.  Londyn always seems to be talking about Josephine and that's probably because she is more outgoing.  I wonder if Preslie will be that way.  Sometimes I hate it when Londyn clings onto me because I am shy and wish I could be outgoing.  

School arts n crafts

I just love Londyn school.  Yes I am a dork I have kept all of her art work.  My pile is getting quite large and it's only 2 months she has been in school.  I also went in and took pictures of her school work.  I added the "Jesus" pictures just for laughs.  She told me the other day that Jesus died for us.  She's always singing God songs with her hands closed it's cute.  When we went to parent teacher night they said Londyn loves the rewards chart.  She always wants to get the little prize at the end.  She's determined to get what she wants.
