It's my birthday!!!!

Today is my birthday and although I am a little depressed about getting old I couldn't be happier to have all that I have.  Londyn makes my days better and Josh is amazing.  He got me an IPad for my birthday he is very good at getting gifts.  Birthday's aren't about me anymore so I wanted to go to the Hot Air Balloon Festival for the last 3 years now & always miss it.  I'm so happy we got to go it was really magical.  The girls looked like they had a great time, thanks for everyone that made it out!

Summer fun!!

Well I can't believe it's August already where has the summer gone?? We finally decided to get Londyn a pool and daddy came home with a 50 gallon storage bin, shocker that all of the pools were sold out. It worked and sneeze having a blast! We put the sprinklers on & she was running through them & going for rides in her little car. I love this little chicky!!!

Great grandma Rhodes visit

londyn is really lucky to have 3 great grandmothers. My paternal grandmother is in Italy, joshs maternal & fraternal grandmother are in NJ. We don't visit them as much as we should but today was really nice. Grandma Rhodes will be 95 in December. Josh has some good genes because nanny is 91. I love talking to Ruth she is really funny and I know she enjoys seeing Londyn. I'm going to make this a regular occurrence because it's nice to be around family.

Tonight we went to the city Carnival to meet up with Lyla and Chloe. Londyn went on her first ride. She was so excited!!

Londyn's hair is finally long enough that I can put a pig tail & pony tail in.  Although it only lasts about 10 mins she looks adorable.

I bought this pretty dress for Londyn & then took her to get her 1 year photos (a few months late) & she was scared of the photographer.  He didn't take any good pictures so I decided to do my own photo shoot in the backyard.

Our weekend in Maryland

So my dad's job finally got moved to Maryland.  He is going to work for a year while my mother is bored in a place that there isn't anything to do.  Gabby and I have a lot going on this summer so we picked this weekend to go down & visit.  They have a cute little 1 bedroom, with central air my favorite & a inground community pool.  Londyn & Lyla always have a blast together & Gab and I enjoyed the home cook meals, flowing cocktails & relaxing pool.  I miss seeing my mother every Tuesday & Thursday.  My mother hates it there and is counting down the weeks.  We all really had a great time.  Lyla was really sad on the way home I don't think she gets what is going on as if Nonna isn't ever coming back.  She said in the car her and Londyn were upset.  Right when they left Londyn started the new babysitter.  She is really nice & at first Londyn was fine when I dropped her off.  Now she just looks at Kathy & cries.  I am so tired to get upset but it hurts not knowing what goes on.  Kathy tells me right when I leave Londyn is ok.  I'm sure she misses Lyla & it's only 2 days a week so since she was always with family she has to get use to it. 
Lo I'm sorry Nonna had to go but you are in good hands, deep down I have a really good feeling about your new babysitter.

4th of July 2011

I wasn't to into the 4th of July this year.  Londyn is still so young to enjoy the fireworks so we went over Jeff's parents house for some good food.  We decided to skip on the fireworks and came home to relax.  Vera told us about this great application on the IPhone so you will be seeing lots of old fashion photos.
