So being that I haven't been on and updating everyone here is where Londyn is at in her life. She still only has 3 teeth, there are 2 more that are pushing their way through. She still isn't walking but last night made HUGE progress. She walked a few feet. It's just amazing seeing this milestone. She is so happy when she does it and I am so proud of her. Now she balances herself when she knows she is about to fall she pauses and then go right back into it. I say any day now she will be walking. Doctors UGH I was sent to another specialist this time a Orthopedic Surgeon for her foot. A Physical therapist at Lyla's school told my babysitter something is wrong with her leg and thigh muscle. Then I noticed her right foot points out and she drags her leg. Josh and my mother said they noticed but thought it would go away when she started walking. I sent her straight to the doctor and then off to another specialist. Finally I found a doctor that was confident enough to tell me she is just fine. She is very flexible and only reason she is putting her foot out is to gain some balance. As long as she starts walking by 18 months he said she is fine. Again like I always say she is perfect. After all of this it's finally about that time to switch doctors. I'm working on her next 15 month well visit to be someplace else and I am really happy about it.
Sleeping patterns are crazy. It takes her forever to go to sleep. Now she stays up until 9:30 even to 11 sometimes. Which then I get nothing done because I am exhausted and fall asleep when she does. I hope this is a phase because mama is tired.
She started with her new babysitter last week. I am very happy to say she enjoys it. On the cruise she became very attached to me which is really cute but sometimes I need a little break. So being that she went to the babysitter without crying it was a settling feeling for me.
She isn't talking that much which had me worried but I have learned that every kid is different and if it isn't on the exact month they are supposed to be taking these milestones I have to calm down. She babbles a lot and kind of says Lyla.
Her hair is still red. That's all people talk about and admire. Everyone thinks I am so lucky to have a red hair blue eye baby. It's so funny because everyone does ask where she gets it from & I think it's Josh's grandfather and my mother had a red tint. I thought she got it dyed on vacation I feel like the sun made it brighter. I think of when I have another child I doubt but it can be also a red head. I see some families that have a red, brunette & blond child.
Other then that I can't believe she is almost 1 1/2!!! This time went by so fast and lately she is changing so much I am enjoying every minute.
