Maria christening

Today was Sofia's beautiful daughter Greek Christening. The service was nice, the Greeks Baptise and give Communion at the same time. We had a really nice day. I was stressing a little deciding on Londyn outfit. I got this cute dress, on sale 7.99 at the Gap. Only problem was it was black. I worried is that appropriate for a baby Christening. After I asked multiple people I went with my decision and put her in the dress, she looked just so darn cute. The day before I went to every baby store possible to look for a cardigan. Wow I didn't know how impossible it was to find one. I finally found one the morning before the Christening. She is just like me she stayed awake the whole day she probably thought she would miss something. It was also her first time in a wooden high chair. She looked really happy until she flung herself back and hit her head.
I must add Sofia who is a great friend from the first day of college. We worked together at Bloomingdale's and then I got her a job in NYC with me. She had her son Evan 3 years ago and then her daughter Maria 10 days before I had Londyn. Now she is 5 months pregnant with another little girl!!  She got pregnant when her daughter was 2 months. I know she is a trooper I couldn't even imagine. I know she will be a lifelong friend.

This is the only picture I have of Maria

Happy 7 months Londyn

Another month flew by! It's also harder for me to leave her everyday. I don't even want to think about when she starts talking and telling me not to leave her. She is doing more and more each day. At 7 months she must be about 14 lbs, I know she is so tiny. She is still in 3-6 months clothing. Here are some of the fun things she does
- She loves to copy what I do. When I make noises with my mouth she tries too and the faces she makes crack me up
- She hates being on her stomach. She hasn't crawled yet which believe me I'm not rushing.
- She loves when I whistle and tries to but only sticks out her tongue.
- Not only has she been sleeping through the night since 2 months but now she goes to sleep around 8. Sometimes it's nice but I only get 1 hour with her on work nights.
- She still loves to eat, she opens her mouth like a bird and if you don't feed her fast enough she gets upset.
- She is VERY close to holding her own bottle
- She's just a very happy baby and I am blessed!!!

Spit all over the place

So I have taken a mini break from blogging.  We haven't done much since it started to get cold so there isn't much to blog about.  I captured this video today of Londyn making noises with her mouth.  Of course I have to start it and then she follows.  I taught her this & thought it was really cute until she gets really into it and spits all over the place.  She also started to have some strength in her arms and tries to crawl a little.  I was just telling my friend that I didn't think she was going to crawl anytime soon because she doesn't really like being on her stomach.  Well overnight she found a different way to try, when she is sitting down she lifts her butt up and moves her arms, kind of like a gorilla.  They grow up so fast!
I'll catch up in 2 days Londyn will be 7 months WOW I can't believe it!!!!

Now I can sleep

Today was Londyn neurologist appointment and it couldn't have gone any better.  The doctor said the pediatrician was off with her percentages and it wasn't as bad as she thought.  He even said he hasn't seen such a symmetrical head in a long time, most babies have flat heads.  So my little baby is just fine and now I can stop worrying so much.  Of course I am going back for a follow up visit but I am positive everything is OK.

Happy Halloween my lil lady bug!

Well I guess being a lady bug was the it things this year, all ages.  Lyla, Londyn, Chloe, Alyssa and half of the kids I saw on Halloween.  We all decided to go around Linden to trick- or-treat.  Glad that her costume was nice and warm because I was freezing.  Not many people were home but overall it was a nice afternoon.  We took lots of pictures, what else is new, I hope I can keep up with that if I have another baby.
After trick or treating we stopped by Ailet's mother's house to say our last good byes.  Ailet I wish you all the best but I'll miss you a lot! xoxoxo

Pumpkin picking

Today was a beautiful day at Terhune Orchards in Princeton, NJ.  The morning was very cold so Josh, Londyn and I bundled up, to get there and realize how hot it was probably mid 70's.  Londyn went on a hay ride (without hay) and we say some animals.  The drive through Princeton was beautiful so we said we would make this spot a tradition every fall.

Here are some pictures of our day.
