Londyn first hair cut

I didn't think it was necessary for Londyn to get a hair cut because girls can just let their hair grow but as I was told her hair was out of control.  When she was little she use to twirl her hair when she drank from her bottle.  It was always so cute until her hair got long & she started dreading it to the point where I had to cut it sometimes.  So we went to Lyla's haircut place and Londyn had a great time! Just like the photography place I was nervous she was going to flip out but she loved it & her little bangs and hair looked great.

Santa right next door

Today we were invited to a party thrown by Michelle and Dana for the kids to hang with Santa. It was a really nice time for Londyn to play with other kids and for the adults to catch up. She still isn't a fan of Santa but it was really funny she had a frightened look on until Santa called her name and handed her a gift. She swiped that gift and took off. She is hysterical when she went into Steven and Justin play room she tried on his hat and backpack and made her appearance. Here are some pictures of the fun night.  Josh took the picture of her and Santa with Jim's camera (nice Josh) so that won't be shown.

Turtle back zoo light show

Every year the turtle back zoo has a light show.  I always am looking for fun stuff to take Londyn to and it helps when it's free.  They give to Toys for Tots so we brought a gift.  I forgot that it was a zoo so when I pulled up it stunk.  As much as nice weather we had so far this winter tonight was a chilly night.  It was a quick run through the zoo, we saw some animals and Londyn rode the carousel with daddy.  We might pass on this but it was a good experience.

Londyn first train ride - NYC

Gabriella wanted to go into NYC today to see the Christmas tree.  The weather has been so crazy lately that today was a nice day to wander around NYC.  It was Londyn first time on a train & being with Lyla she is always happy.  We had a good time went to see the tree, walked down 5th ave & then went to FAO Schwarz.

Thanksgiving 2011

This year I did what I love to do, host Thanksgiving.  I say that sarcastically.  Josh really wanted to host and I also felt like everyone is always so good to us so this year I'll host.  I'm not a cook whats so ever & I got anxiety just thinking about cooking so I decided to order Thanksgiving dinner (2) from Whole foods.  This will probably be the last time this happens.  Although it was good we still had to cook it for what seems like 3 hours I should have just made it.  We had 16 people over & I thought I needed 3 turkey's.  The fryer broke after I marinated the turkey so we had Thanksgiving part 2 with friends the next day.  It was a nice way to also pay back everyone hosting for me & get rid of leftovers.  All in all it was a nice day spending with family.
Gabby & I went shopping for black Friday at 9pm till 3 am it was fun!

New chatter

My mom stopped over and was working on flash cards with Londyn.  She put them all on the floor and would ask Londyn to bring over each one.  I was shocked to realize that Londyn actually knew what the red tomato was or the brown piece of cake.  The only one she didn't know was the kite.  She turned around like she was going to grab it, thought awhile and turned back and said "I don't know?"  I was so excited and shocked she said a sentence.  Slowly but surely she is starting to speak and her cute little voice gets me all the time.  XOXO Londyn

Brooklyn Aqaurium

Ever since I pulled out the flash cards & showed Londyn the picture of the blue fish she always makes this cute fish noise.  I couldn't wait for her to go to the aquarium.  It was a really nice day and Londyn loved all the fish.  At one point she told me to shh.. because the fish was sleeping.  After the aquarium we took a walk on the Coney Island boardwalk, it was a lot of fun.
